Muster Field Farm Museum in North Sutton will host its annual Farm Days celebration this year on August 24th and 25th. Held at the farm on Harvey Road, the festivities include hayrides, a kiddy tractor pull, a slow tractor race, and many demonstrations of traditional farming skills and crafts. Antique tractors and engines will be on display all weekend. Children can try their hand at ice cream churning, blacksmithing, stone splitting and stilt walking if they dare. Both days feature a grand parade at 3:00 p.m. Visitors to Farm Days are encouraged to explore all the farm buildings and enjoy the 250 acres of gardens, farm and forest land. Saturday highlights: Sled dogs on display, Cow Flop Bingo in the afternoon, and a Roast Beef Supper from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. ($15 for adults, $5 for children, call 603-848-4297 for reservations). Sunday highlights: Breakfast from 6:30-8:30 a.m. ($5/plate: pancakes, sausage, juice & coffee), sled dogs and alpacas on display, and a morning 4H Oxen Show. Farm Days hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., rain or shine.
