    Event Description:
The Natural Lakeshore Habitat - A Closer Look
Led by Lake Sunapee Protective Association and The Fells
    Friday, July 6, 1pm - 3pm

Come learn about the wonderful natural world that exists where the water meets the land. This joint LSPA-Fells program will explore this ecotone, or the overlap of two different environments. What are the plant and animal species that inhabit this zone? What special relationships exist here? What does a healthy lakeshore habitat look like? This program, designed for upper elementary school-age through adults, begins with a brief presentation in the John Hay Classroom in the Gatehouse, followed by an easy hike along the shore of Lake Sunapee. LSPA or Fells members: free, non-members: included with regular admission fee.
