Renowned area musician/performers, Bill Wightman and Cliff Clegg join forces combining keyboard, guitar and vocals to create a funky and cool twist on selected jazz and rock with a smattering of original gems! Elton meets Eric! With Jody Bregler as their special guest on percussion.
Bill Wightman has a musical career spanning 40 plus years of performing in Boston, New York and most of New England with USO tours entertaining the troops. Composer of jazz music and music for theatre, he’s also known for writing novelty songs including the theme song for the National Survival Game (now known as the Paint Ball game) that originated in the New London area. Owner of Wightsteeple Productions in Sunapee, NH, Bill currently produces, directs, and performs as keyboardist and vocalist for the popular JOSA (Jazz On a Sunday Afternoon) series, now in its 26th year. During this time, Bill has performed with such jazz greats as Greg Abate, Rebecca Parris, Big Joe Burrelll, Tiger Okoshi, Richie Cole, Shelia Jordan, and many others.
Cliff Clegg, also of Sunapee, NH, is a multi-award-winning virtuoso guitarist, singer and songwriter. Throughout his career,he’s collaborated with high-profile musicians such as country guitarist extraordinaire, Redd Volkaert, and with local country music success, Tammy Jackson with whom he toured with their band performing at sell-out shows in Las Vegas and all across the country. Known for his ability as a lead guitarist, vocalist, and bassist, Cliff is also known in the industry as a highly respected and sought after music director, producer, and recording engineer.
