Nestled on a hillside at the base of Mount Sunapee, The Lake Inn is perfect for couples or families. An ideal location ~ one minute to the mountain or the lake for year-round fun. We are a short drive to area schools: Colby-Sawyer, Dartmouth, and New England colleges or Proctor Academy.

Our priority is to provide clean, comfortable rooms at reasonable prices for a great night’s sleep. All 12 motel rooms have picture windows overlooking Lake Sunapee with heat, seasonal air conditioning, private bath, hair dryer, alarm clock, free Wi-Fi, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, flat screen TV. Some units have private screen porches; others have outdoor patio sitting areas. Two pet friendly rooms may be available; call for details. All rooms and porches are non-smoking; we are a NON-SMOKING property and smoking is only allowed in designated locations away from the buildings. We have a stone patio, deck, hammock, picnic tables, grills, and a firepit on site to enjoy family time or just relax. Discounts to local restaurants and attractions.

The State Beach, public boat launch, children's playground, and Mount Sunapee Resort are situated around the corner for year-round fun. During the summer, enjoy a cruise aboard the MV Mt. Sunapee II or MV Kearsarge dinner cruise. During winter, we are 1/2 mile from Mount Sunapee to ski & ride and 20 minutes from Pat’s Peak to ski, ride and go tubing. Ice boating and fishing on Lake Sunapee is fun! Our goal is guest comfort and satisfaction; we will do our best to make your stay memorable.
